I was born an American, and so did my mother, my father, my grandparents, and the parents before them. So, as my blood passes on, to a new generation of citizens of “the land of the free and the home of the brave”, I can’t but emphasize the importance of remembering that once, before this great nation achieved its current status, millions of innocent souls were enslaved at gunpoint to satisfy the thirst for power, held by cruel despots, at best.

Now that I specialize in researching and developing exponential technologies for public benefit, I feel it a duty to share with you that we may be en route to committing the same barbarity, but exceedingly worst.

Artificial Intelligence, the driver behind the new industrial age — and the brain of every future system — is currently controlled by corporations that superimpose their profitability over human welfare; spreading agendas that are less humane by the minute and reflect bias at an exponential pace.

Avoid sloppily running into a future that replicates an abominable past. Because this time, Descendant may become, more than a documentary, it may record a historic fact. Get involved in the inclusive development of the systems that govern over the New Age of Cognitive Machines, now. Allow your story to emerge from your own account, desires, and power of self-reflection.
